The city of Sherwood is in the process of designing an upgrade to the existing sanitary sewer system along the southeast side of the Portland and Western railroad tracks and along the south side of SW Tualatin Sherwood Road (see map below) to increase capacity for future development of industrial lands to the east. This will be accomplished through a combination of open trenching and pipe bursting. The construction of this project is expected to occur in the summer of 2013 with bidding occurring in the spring of 2013.
