This project includes rehabilitation of Taxiway C and North Taxiway W, which are showing signs of pavement fatigue, severe cracking, and possible subgrade failure, as well as widening of the terminal entrance. Rehabilitation of Taxiway C will be approximately 2300 LF from Runway 8-26 to Runway 17-35. Pavement width of Taxiway C will be narrowed to 35 feet to meet Group II standards. The strength of rehabilitation will be 30,000-pound single wheel. Rehabilitation of Taxiway W will be from the Taxiway A/Taxiway W intersection to 200 feet beyond Peninsula Hangar for a rehabilitation length of approximately 1000 LF. Taxiway W will be narrowed to 35 feet of pavement width to meet Group II standards, and rehabilitation strength will be 30,000-pound single wheel. Rehabilitation of Taxiway C and Taxiway W will also include reestablishing edge reflectors, installing subdrainage systems, and relocating signs to accommodate the narrower taxiway widths.
