PROJECT #8-2013 – GARNER STREET RECONSTRUCTION – The project consists of approximately 630 lineal feet of Type I Street Reconstruction (complete curb and pavement replacement) and approximately 600 lineal feet of Type II Street Reconstruction (curb replacement, base repair, mill and overlay) on South Garner Street from south of East Hamilton Avenue to Easterly Parkway; including approximately 4300 square yards of 1 ½" wearing course, approximately 2240 square yards of 2 ½" binder course and 5" base course, approximately 2420 lineal feet of concrete curb/gutter, approximately 975 square feet of 6" concrete sidewalk and ADA compliant curb ramps with detectable warning surfaces, approximately 2220 square feet of 4" concrete sidewalk, and incidental sidewalk and driveway apron replacement. The project also includes storm sewer inlet and pipe replacement and sanitary sewer lateral replacement. Storm sewer work will consist of replacement of 8 inlets and junction boxes, and installation of approximately 160 lineal feet of 15" storm sewer pipe. Sanitary sewer work will consist of adjustment of 4 manholes and replacement of 6 laterals.
