The objectives of this study were to identify potential sites for pumping and recharge, to formulate pumping and recharge alternatives, to evaluate the impacts of the alternatives on the aquifer system, and to rank the alternatives. The study consisted of the following six tasks: Task 1 – Develop planning criteria and collect necessary data Task 2 – Identify potential sites for recharge basins and pumping wells Task 3 – Describe and characterize recharge water sources Task 4 – Evaluate the performance of recharge and pumping for various alternatives Task 5 – Develop environmental constraint matrix Task 6 – Prepare reports, conduct meetings, and perform project administration
