Project Description & Purpose The Signal Timing 3 project is the latest in a series of projects to help local agencies re-time traffic signals in the region. This project consists of 147 intersections that will have new timing implemented in the period between February and June of 2013. The project is funded through the Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality (CMAQ) program. Schedule of work include: ? Collect traffic & signal data ? Evaluate existing signal timing & develop new timing at 140 intersections ? Implement timing in the field ? Fine-tune timing ? Conduct before-after studies
