Project Description & Purpose This is a Complete Streets project for improvements between 4th Street and N . McCarran Boulevard. The project includes enhanc ement of pedestrian and bus stop facilities, installation ofraffic calming and other safety improvements. Roadway conversion techniques will be implemented through the use of a slurry seal to potentially provide bike lanes and reduce vehicle speeds. The objective F sof the project are to improve health and safety, enhance the quality of life for local residents, promote economic prosperity, preserve pavement conditions, and promote the use of alternative transportation modes.This project is funded through a Federal Transit Agency Transportation Community System Preservation (TCSP) grant and Local Fuel Tax funds
