The scope of this project is limited to the collapsed/buckled area of the decking located on the South Jetty. Proposed work includes demolition of the collapsed concrete deck over a 155 foot span, including all longitudinal and traverse beams, associated reinforcing steel and mooring hardware and fender piles. The concrete shall be removed and legally disposed of in its entirety with the exception of an 23-foot section adjacent to the steel bulkhead, which is to remain. Additionally, the work includes the installation of 100 cubic yards of crushed stone to fill voids located inshore of the existing steel sheet pile bulkhead. The site will be secured with fencing at the conclusion of the project.
