SECURE IT CLOSETS

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System will be soliciting for a contractor to provide all tools, materials, labor, management and will coordinate with a VA Office of Information Technology representative to secure IT closets. The Contractor will install hard ceilings with PVC elbows for future wiring and install and secure return air grill for heat dissipation, installing new secured pin door hinges, constructing walls, installing doors, metal door jambs, custom install latch locks, equipment racks, door sweeps, expanded metal, and possible relocation of IT closet components, disconnect/reconnect and test. Second the contractor shall replace the current (Non-PIV) compatible WINPAK Physical Access System with Hirsch Electronics" Velocity System which is PIV compatible and meets nationally mandated access control measures into sensitive or restricted areas. Third, the contractor shall be required to expand PIV compatible Hirsch system. Fourth the contractor shall replace current uninterrupted power supply (UPS) units with new UPSs". Finally, furnish and install network switches on the fiber optic LAN for the security camera system in secure closets housing the IT equipment.

The NAICS is 236220 applies and size standard is $33.5 Million. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns.
