The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA requires the renovation of the sleep lab and the surrounding area on the 8th floor west area on the 8th floor Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Facility. The renovations involve approximately 13,186 SQFT of the 8th floor area in building 1 of the Wilkes-Barre VA. The renovations will involve largely the complete demolition of existing walls, ceilings, finishes, and all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in the work area in order to accommodate the new layout as defined by drawings and specifications. Project Number 693-07-125. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, tools, supervision, equipment, permits, testing and reports in accordance with all federal, state and local codes and regulations. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Period of Performance will be approximately 270 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. All work on this project must be accomplished between 8 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
