Relocate Auditorium for Lab Consolidation

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY will be posting a solicitation (VA528-14-Q-0070) on or about February 7, 2014 to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for the Relocate Auditorium for Lab Consolidation project 528A8-10-801. Work will include complete site preparation for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the construction of Relocate Auditorium for Lab Consolidation as required by drawings and specifications. Work shall be performed in accordance with all applicable standards and regulations as detailed or specified in the Solicitation. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $33.5 Million. The cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Bid, performance and payment bonding will be required to respond to this solicitation once released.

OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIAL

Solicitation materials consisting of the Information for Bid Details, Specifications, Drawings and Contract Forms will be available on http://www.fedbizopps.gov in electronic format only. These should be available on or about February 7, 2014. All interested parties (subs & primes) should register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov as an "Interested Vendor" so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement. A Bidder"s mailing list, list of interested parties and/or list of attendees at site visits WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contract Specialist. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed. By registering to "Add to Watch List"; you will be notified by of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers as prescribed by FAR 52.215-1 Instructions to Offerors - Competitive Acquisition.
