The Board of Commissioners, Glynn County, Brunswick, Georgia is interested in a qualified, professional consulting firm to assist Glynn County with evaluation of options to upgrade the current 800 MHz Motorola SmartNet radio system to a P25 compliant system. The consultant selected will determine and verify the requirements to provide radio service to Glynn County, write the scope of work and assist in compiling the RFP to be released by the County for the services and equipment. Once a contract (for services and equipment) has been awarded by the County, the consulting firm will provide project management to oversee and manage the installation, implementation and testing of the chosen system. Both the infrastructure and the subscriber units are included in this project.
