The City of San Antonio seeks to place a number of qualified, licensed dentists under contract to provide dental care services to the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District and its clients. The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District provides dental care services through a network of public health clinics and other service locations. Selected applicants must be willing to work in culturally and geographically diverse neighborhood settings. Detailed information regarding the characteristic duties of a dentist under contract with the City and an application form can be accessed through the Request for Applications link below. The one page application and a curriculum vitae or resume are all that are required to apply. The contract template and other documents that will be required of selected dentists can be accessed through the Sample Forms and Contract link below.
