The scope of services described in these specifications will include sample collection, preservation, transportation, analysis, and documentation for surface water, groundwater, leachate and miscellaneous sampling events at landfills located in Escambia County, Florida. All activities will be in accordance with Florida Administrative Code (FAC), chapters 62-300, 62-500 and 62-700, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Standard Operating Procedures for Field Activities SOP-001/01 dated January 1, 2002, revised 2004 and COUNTY requirements. The sampling frequencies vary from semi-annually to annually for each of five solid waste facilities and may include unscheduled regulatory directed events. Sampling services shall be supervised by COUNTY staff.
