Project Description & Purpose The North Virginia Street at North McCarran Boulevard intersection delay has increased and this intersection has appeared on the top ten high crash location list numerous times. This project evaluated traffic signal improvements and roundabouts at North Virginia and North McCarran and the intersection of Sierra and North Virginia . The roundabout option failed at the intersection of North Virginia and North McCarran with existing traffic loads. Negotiation with the consultant is ongoing for final design of additional turn lanes and traffic signal improvements.
