This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice ONLY; no proposals are being requested at this time. Furthermore, no draft Request for Proposals (RFP) or Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be available prior to release of the solicitation. The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center has a requirement to procure Mobile PET Scanning Services to be located at the VA Medical Center.

Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government, taking into consideration technical and price factors, and associated subfactors. Evaluation factors will be set forth in the RFP. It is anticipated that RFP No. VA249-13-R-0546 will be issued on or around March 1, 2014 and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The online version of the RFP will include all documents of the solicitation package.

No hard copies of the RFP will be available. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the RFP. The complete RFP package, including any amendments, should be downloaded and reviewed prior to submitting a response.

It is the responsibility of those responding to the RFP to obtain all amendments and/or applicable documents. Offerors are instructed to hold all questions until the RFP has been issued. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS ARE CAUTIONED AGAINST UNAUTHORIZED COMMUNICATION WITH THE SOURCE SELECTION TEAM. In order to be eligible for award, interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov.
