This is a Pre-solicitation notice. This Pre-solicitation notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. A formal solicitation will be issued on or about 17 Feb 2014. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem VAMC, 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, Virginia currently has the need for medical waste pick-up and disposal for the main facility and outlying Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in Lynchburg, Wytheville and Stanton Virginia. Pick-up shall be three days a week for the main facility and once a month for the CBOCs. Proposed solicitation number is VA246-14-Q-0384. This contract is expected to be a base plus four option years. This requirement is set-aside 100% for SDVOSB. NAICS 562112, Size Standard: $35.5 m.
