CARTO 3 DISPOSABLES

The Great Lakes Acquisitions Center (GLAC) is seeking potential sources capable of providing authorized consumables and disposables for the Biosense Webster Carto 3 Mapping System which the VA currently owns. This 3D cardiac mapping system uses an electromagnetic field for mapping the cardiac anatomy and localization of the catheters being used. The consumables and disposables required include catheters and cables which are used to map patient"s cardiac anatomy, track catheters being used in real time, and map internal temperatures. The VA also requires ablation catheters and cables that are compatible with this system that allow for the treatment of patients after the cardiac anatomy has been mapped and a treatment strategy established. Biosense Webster is the only known provider of compatible consumables for their Carto 3 Mapping System.
This sources sought is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can provide catheters, cables, or other authorized consumables for the Carto 3 Mappying System may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 5:00PM (CST) March 11, 2014. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
