Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC is seeking the services of a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that will completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for project 659-11-232, BUILDING 3 ENTRANCE ENCLOSURES. The work includes, but is not limited to demolition, excavation, concrete work, landscaping, paving, mechanical installation, plumbing and electrical associated with the renovation of the exterior of Building 3, and the installation of an enclosure on the North and South center entrances. Construction work is to be performed in accordance to local building code, specifications, and contract/documents. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $33.5M. All work shall be completed within one-hundred and eighty (180) calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final inspection, punch-list, and clean-up. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Solicitation will be posted on/about May 29, 2012. A pre-bid walk-through will be held on or about one week after the posting of the solicitation. These dates are estimates. The actual dates will be stated in the solicitation.
