Audio Visual Equipment for the Herbert University Center

The Herbert University Center is updating the current audio visual technology in 13 conference rooms. All existing audio visual equipment will be removed by the awarded contractor and the equipment listed below installed . All existing equipment w ill be returned to the Project M anager for disposition. All plenum cable sets, J Hooks and miscellaneous hardware necessary to complete this installation will be the responsibility of the awarded contractor. A ll debris which is a result of delivery, assembly or installation shall be removed at the completion of each work day. Coordination of installation dates which may fall over multiple business days due to room access shall be coordinated with the Project Manager . At least two staff training sessions shall be provided at the completion of installation with the first session being completed prior to the commencement of the performance period . During the warranty period for all equipment, t he awarded contractor must be able to provide 24 hour telephone call back service on a ny business day and weekends to trouble shoot and talk UNF personnel through a malfunction. If the malfunction cannot be resolved over the phone , the awarded contractor must be on - site within 48 h ours of the initial telephone call to trouble shoot or provide on - site repair service. For malfunctioning projectors that cannot be repaired on - site, the awarded contractor must provide l oaner projectors installed of comparable specification while the ma lfunctioning equipment is being repaired off campus. Only the manufacturer's equipment and part numbers as specified below , or owner approved equivalents , will be considered for this project. Owner a pproved equivalents for the projectors shall be either N EC or Opto ma brands . Bidders must include with their bid all d ocumentati on necessary for the evaluation of the equivalent item(s) being offered . The owner approved equivalent will be approved by the Project Manager. If adequate data and specifications fo r alternate items to determine equivalency is not p rovided with your bid response, the bidder may be considered non - responsive .
