The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is planning to upgrade 88th Avenue between Spruce Brook Street and Elmore Road to meet current standards for pavement, curbs, drainage, and pedestrian facilities. The project is currently in the early design phase, and the current schedule for construction is the summer of 2014.The goal of this project is to increase safety and meet design standards.
