Project Summary: The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center has a requirement for a general contractor capable of the following: Provide construction services necessary for the correction of FCA Deficiencies in the historic district. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing items, and furnish labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision and all other necessary resources to perform the work for Building 6 FCA Deficiency Corrections as required by the SOW, drawings and specifications. The FCA deficiency corrections will consist of, but not limited to, exterior brick and masonry walls, roof and windows; exit lights and lightening protection; mechanical equipment, steam isolation valves, steam radiation and ventilation for various areas; ADA fixtures and fire service check valves; spread footings and exterior wall vertical members; and elevators. All work must be in accordance with contract specifications and drawings for the Milwaukee VAMC, to be provided at the official posting of the solicitation.
