The City of Orinda is proposing to repair the culvert crossing of Lavenida Road at Moraga Creek. Refer to attached location map. Currently, the bottom of the 120 inch diameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert is rusted out and the slopes of the creek are sloughing off into the creek. The City proposes to repair the bottom of the culvert and stabilize the banks. The general land use in the project vicinity is urban with residential properties surrounding the culvert and roadway.
