The project involves the removal of two existing 72" CMP culverts and replacing them by constructing a pre-fabricated 19' precast concrete span bridge with parapet rail, as detailed in the plans. Project includes excavation and embankment of existing soils, construction of structural concrete bridge abutments, riprap blankets, reinforced concrete pavement, concrete curb & gutter, and the preparation of roadbed subgrade and aggregate base. The City of Merriam's Public Works Department shall place asphalt millings on portions of the prepared roadbed subgrade and aggregate base. The project is located on the Public Works Service Drive crossing over Quail Creek at the City of Merriam's Public Works Maintenance Facility at 6901 Knox Street.
