The Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida (the County) is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified firms with expertise in Records Management Consultant. Firm shall assist in developing a high quality records management system for all County generated documents, both electronics and printed. Ensure that records maintained in the department meet internal and external requirements and comply with Florida Statutes for both retention and disposition. Ensure the County's policies and procedures comply with the Florida Public Records Laws to include handling of public records requests. Firms interested in submitting shall submit an original and five (5) copies to the Office of Central Purchasing, 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, Fl 32435. RFP closes onn October 11, 2012 no later than 3:00PM local time and will open immediately thereafter. Late proposals received after the listed time and date will not be accepted.
