The Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center (VAACC) has a requirement for Project 757-15-205, "Replace Site Paving" per the drawing and specifications. This opportunity is available only to contractors under Public Law 109-461 and 38 USC 8127. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law 109-461 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Pursuant to VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 852.219-10, the SDVOSB contractor or a SDVOSB sub-contractor is required to perform a minimum of 25% of the construction work on the project. This does not include paperwork, submittals, etc. Additionally, this acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 14.408-1(a) (3), to that responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors.

A Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract is anticipated to be awarded. Contractor shall provide, labor, materials and supervision necessary to accomplish the work indicated on the contract drawings as stated in the specifications at the Chalmers P. Wylie VAACC, 420 N. James Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43219-1834. Solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, will be available electronically on or about May 23, 2014, at the following website: www.fbo.gov. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDING POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. One Hundred and Twenty (120) day bid acceptance period will be required. Bond information: A 20% Bid bond must be submitted with bid.
