The VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) intends to issue a solicitation for Neurosurgery services. This will be a Health Care Resources contract to provide for Neurosurgeon(s) (approximately 1,690 hours) and mid-level provider(s) (approximately 494 hours). Services will be performed at the VA NWIHCS, Omaha Division, located at 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE.
The contract will have a 12 month period of performance with 4, 1 year-long option periods. Services will be required beginning July 1, 2014.
The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 621111 (Size Standard: $10 million). The Government anticipates awarding a fixed price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (utilizing an hourly reimbursement methodology).
The request for proposal is anticipated to be released on or about February 14, 2014.
