The Amphitheater at the Lyons VA in New Jersey consists of Building 119 and Building 118. The scope of the project is to demolish the Amphitheater while ensuring that other VA property is not damaged and that the demolition will not interfere with any public utilities, traffic, public right-of-ways. The contractor will install a temporary 10 ft. high fence with an access gate to enclose the construction site. Patient safety is a priority and the contractor will be required to make sure that the gate to the job site remains locked at all time. All remaining debris will be removed from job site and disposed off-site. All hazardous material will be contained and disposed of in a proper manner. Any signs, light poles or other VA property damaged during construction will be repaired or replaced by the contractor. This work will be done in accordance to VA rules and regulations which will be incorporated in the specifications and drawings.
