This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY will be posting a solicitation (VA528-14-B-0074) on or about February 14, 2014 to furnishing all labor, equipment, devices, and materials and performing all work required to renovate approximately 5,200 square feet of existing office and lobby space located on the first floor of Building 1. For this project, these spaces will be renovated to consolidate the VA Police Department and improve the main entrance lobby appearance to the facility at the Stratton VA Medical Center in accordance with these technical specifications and applicable drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of walls, ceilings, flooring and modifications and additions to existing construction, mechanical HVAC, plumbing and electrical building utility systems. Work shall be performed in accordance with all applicable standards and regulations as detailed or specified in the Solicitation. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $33.5 Million. The cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Bid, performance and payment bonding will be required to respond to this solicitation once released.

These should be available on or about February 7, 2014.
