The Yonkers City School District is submitting a proposal for the 2013-2014 Priority Full-day Prekindergarten and Expanded Half-day Prekindergarten Grant Program for High Need Students currently posted under chapter 53, Section 1 of the New York Education Law. This is a competitive grant and we are seeking funding to convert existing half-day placements to full-day placements. We propose bringing this grant to all PK-8 schools and four Community Based Organizations (C.B.O.).
