The Departrment of Mental Health, Western MA Area, is seeking proposals from Qualified Hospitals to provide secure psychiatric inpatient services (On an as-needed basis) to mentally ill individuals who are involved with the criminal justice system. Services must be designed for the specific purpose of providing court-ordered forensic and clinical assessment and treatment to men and women who have been determined in need of psychiatric evaluation and care pursuant to M.G.L. C. 123, Section 15,16 17 and 18. Hospitals must be licensed by the State Department of Mental Health, including Forensic class V license, have JCAHO and HCFA accredation, and be certified for Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. Special Review of site security required. This is an "Open & Rolling" Procurement.
