Funding for Particulate Matter Traps on School Diesel Backup Generators

Due Date: Ongoing

The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for retrofitting diesel backup generators with PM traps located at or near schools, in an amount not to exceed $250,000. This program, which supplements an earlier program, provides incentives to reduce children's exposure to toxic diesel particulate matter from diesel generators as expeditiously as possible.
